I was travelling in Cambodia in 2004 and visited Siem Riep, walking around Angkor Wat. I tend to meander around, not so much following the direct pathways between temples, and came across a patch of four leaf clovers. The patch was around 4 metres by 6 metres, all four leaf clovers! I pressed about 30 of them into my journal, and tried to communicate to the monks in the adjacent monastery that if they bring
people there, they will be very happy. This included holding up a clover and motioning 3 with my fingers, and ok, and then 4, and big smile and thumbs up. I'm pretty sure they thought I was completely nuts!
